I know the post is old but not to me...

Just wanted to say "Cool Post", enjoyed as well as the comments.

God is Great, Beer is Good.... People are Crazy.

But God gives meaning to our world and Christ came to point people to his Father. So every time someone gets closer or finds their path it's time to rejoice for everyone.

Marla, if Sarge hadn't posted on this thread, I probably would not have known about you being converted to Christianity. This is great and wonderful news. I always like to hear about someone accepting Christ as their Savior. I'll probably never meet you until after Judgement Day. I'm looking forward to meeting you and Brian then.

Marla, as grand as that sounds; I am living in Idaho now, since 2007. It might be possible to go back for a few days if I know when ya'll will be there, and where. I went back last September and spent almost 6 weeks. I have no definite plans as to when I might return but if you DO decide to go down there let me know.

Texasred... hope you are liking your new(er) home. I'm in Oklahoma right now but I spend half the year in Idaho - up in the Panhandle. Guess that don't mean much since we could still be 630 miles from each other and still be feller iderhoans.

Yeah, Sarge, you're right. A lot of distance between us. Next time you're up there, let me know. I really need to get out more than I do. I've always said that when a man (or woman) retires; the very worst thing they can do is sit down and do nothing. It seems that after a couple of years or less, they just 'up and die'. I tried to stay reasonably business and quite a bit of walking until about 2 years ago. I've done very little since then except watch the 'tube' and the computor. My email address is: [email protected] I've been as far north as Ketchum but keep promising myself that I'm going up to CDL. Have a great week end! Red

Marla, sorry for using your thread for chitchat. I should have sent a PM; but already got this written----so, forgive me. Red

texasred777, The last time I was in the Yellowstone area of Wyoming and Idaho was 7/1961. Brian in Fl. has never been there and I would like to go there again and possibly hunt. I would like to be able to take a long summer trip into the NW of this country. I'm hoping we do not have any more medical problems that prevents us from making the trip. Marla
