    Winchester 94AE in 356Win

Stopped by my favorite LGS and they have a one of these getting ready to go on consignment. They don’t have a price for it yet. Anybody have a good idea on price for one of these. The gun is used but in very good shape. Thanks.

Update: I picked up the 356 Win today and here are the pics I promised. I got a deal on this one, $575 OTD including 250 pcs of 356 brass and 50 pcs of 444 Marlin brass.

I bought mine in 2011 for 500 dollars. It was in perfect shape without a scope. It is a hammer on whitetail deer and will shoot quarter sized groups at 100 yards after I scoped it. Mine likes the factory 200 grain Winchester ammo.

If you can get one in great shape for $700 or less you are getting a great caliber at a steal. I have seen many go for $1000+. Brass and ammo can be had .

Thanks everyone, I let you know what happens. I wasn’t even remotely interested until my buddy said it was a .356 Win.

I once had one and it was fairly accurate. You can load it using .358 Win dies. The brass was a bit hard to come by, but I found some on the internet. I loaded mostly flat nose Speer 180 and 220gr bullets.

For a reloader 307 Winchester brass is very common to find and neck up.,

New Winchester brass at $37/50 pieces sounds quite reasonable on the market.
