    First Winchester

Bought a Winchester 1892. A Browning, Japanes Winchester I suppose.
I've seen lots of the Rossi clones but never a Winchester .
    Ordered this from Midway.
Marble's Tang Peep Sight Browning 1892, Winchester 1892 with Tang Safety Steel Blue
    should be the right one.
lever30, Sambane, V1Rot8 and 5 others like this.
    Si vis pacem, para bellum

I have the Rossi and enjoy the 92 style rifle. The Winchester will be a nicer rifle as my Rossi has hardwood stocks and likely not as fine of bluing. It is a 357 and gets carried a lot. You will ejoy that rifle a lot.

    Did forget the details.
It is a 357/38 Short Rifle, 20 inch round barrel and a tang safety.
I always scan the racks for tube magazines. The End Cap caught my eye, then the larger bore, bigger than 30 cal.
    Clean inside and out.
A very trim rifle compared to my 357 HenryBBB. Both 20 inch barrels.
With a tang sight it will have a longer sight radius and be 1.5 lbs lighter.

Congratulations! I’ve never found a used one, but I don’t frequently go out looking.

That is going to be a fun rifle to shoot! Are you going to try to hunt with it?
