A peaceful, and pain free Memorial Day weekend with his family.
And hope all our Veterans take a minute to honor our brother's who gave it all for us, may they rest in peace.
And may our MIA's all come home to their families.
God bless you all!!!

Only two defining forces have ever died for you:
1. Jesus Christ.
2. The American Soldier, Sailor, Airman, Marine, & Coast Guardsman.
One died for your soul, the other for your freedom.

Not a lot of rush or pressure this year. Think I will reflect on older vets like my father (ww11) that are no longer with us. An the ones of my era , several I knew personal who didn't make it home. And the ones younger than me. Thanks to all that served. Happyness to all and there familys.
Amen, a big Thank You to all troops, past & future.
What this country needs is a department of common sense! The tree of liberty would be a great place for hang mans ropes!

I will be remembering friends from The Gunfighters, A Company, 1/6 198th LIB.
I seem to reflect on Memorial Day every day of the year. I guess it is just in the back of my mind from a formidable time in my life. Our brothers and sisters that gave all are at peace. The families still suffer a void that is hard to fill and my thoughts are with them.
