ca'jun didn't serve but my two older brothers and my oldest sister did. I would be proud to talk to your friend and wish him a Happy Thanksgiving! Pm me his number and address so I can send him a Christmas card also!

    Thanks!

Army, don't know his rank but he served in the late 60's early 70's. IIRC. Honestly, I don't know much about his time in Nam. We are very friendly neighbors but not close. He doesn't really talk about Nam per say. It comes out occasionally in bits and pieces during the course of conversation. Man, you should have seen the look on his face, a big ear to ear grin when I showed him the NJ legal M16A1 clone I built with as many GI parts as I could get my hands on. He noticed immediately it didn't have the fun switch.

Called him this morning, we talked for a few. Nice guy, comes from a military family, dad, uncle and grandfather I think he said.
Hope it helps make his day.

Talked with James today. I Asked him about a guy from Tennessee with accent? He said right away "Randy" and then said I could understand every word he said. His Aunt is coming today to visit with him and bringing a care package. He is stuck in bed, but he can still talk and is sharp as a tack.
