Does Tire Rotation Include Tightening Lug Nuts?

    In Michigan NO!

So better make sure you have your lug-nut wrench and tighten them yourself!

    I rotate my own tires!

Just more idiots. I would love to do a tire rotation on anyone who does not think that is part of it. I noticed a few places I think Sam's is one of them require two different people to check the lugs before taking the vehicle out of the shop.

Worst yet! Is the low IQ ones who use a twelve point socket and ruin your lugs with a impact! Must use a six point socket for any lugs!

Common sense here says that if the tire was removed by the service provider it stands to reason that you need to tighten the lugs nuts to give back a car that will be safe to drive. It would be the same as a gunsmith doing a barrel replacement and returning the gun to the owner with excessive head space which then led to a blow up. Ridiculous legal mumbo jumbo.

Or they over torque and warp your rotors.

This, from the automobile state! You'd think they were a bit more savvy? 8 years as a child in Lansing, the Capitol, and that town was all about cars!
