    Patterned the Turkey Slayer

Mossberg 835 with a Hevishot choke. Apex ammo 3 1/2 inch straight number 9 tss shot. 347 pellets inside 10 inches at 40 yards.

This TSS shot is a game changer for turkey hunting. Even the number 9 size pellets will penetrate deep enough to kill turkeys beyond 60 yards.
no primers, DRSLYR, Tsb3 and 3 others like this.

The 9’s are serious medicine. When I run out of HW 7’s I’m on the TSS #9 train in my 20 gauge.

$6 plus per round! Probably not for me. I tend to let the lead fly with the semi auto.

Are you sure that 347 pellets hit inside the circle? I think you should recount them.

I got 346, but my eyes aren't what they used to be!
