I've heard many horror stories about NBT's, just haven't seen any. The 180 gr. from an '06 or the 120 gr. from a 7-08 are great combos. Just wish a short action MR-7 existed.

I had the chance to get a 1996 M7 in 30 06 in excellent condition for $325 at Goldmine pawn in Merritt Island FL. last week when I was there to ship guns I sold on gunbroker.
Couldn't justify getting it for myself because I already have a CZ and a Remington 700 in 30 06.But,figured I could make $ on it if I could talk them down $25-$50.When I went back it was gone.

I do like the monarch. Shot the rifle Friday and it shot about an inch to inch and a half consistently. I can't ask for too much better than that out of a bone stock rifle. I love my "new" rifle!
