    Glenfield 30GT search....

Well, I have been searching for a while now. I am gonna say I will probably never find a 30GT. I look at Armslist daily, of course in here as well, all the local online gun sites. Look at gun shows. I assume everyone that has one will not let go of them. But, the search will continue! Why, because I want one! What do you guys think they are actually worth in today’s market? Or I should say what would one in very good condition be worth to you guys?

They are prob only desired by fanatics like us on this forum, The average Joe prob has no idea about them or would think it is cheap junk because it's a Glenfield.
I have been searching a long time also but not online. I have never seen one in person. I'd guess I would pay 500 bucks or so for one in nice shape.

It'll come when you least expect it. I wasn't looking for the 1958 Texan in .35 that I just picked up off Armslist and then BOOM there it was. I just happened up on the Genfield model 36G in a pawn shop and wasn't looking for anything in particular. I think a lot of us on here are looking for something special and it'll happen, just be patient.

Agreed, I enjoy making the rounds to the LGS and the gun shows, I never know what I will find and most of the time I don't find anything. The thrill of the hunt is all part of it.
Whether it be flea markets, antique malls, estate/garage sales I am always treasure hunting anything and everything not just guns. Even a blind squirrel finds a nut once in a while.

It's basically a 18.5 pre safety Texan with a kitschy birch stock.

There you go, talk it down so people won’t be looking for them.
