    Pictures of Your Glenfields

I am already a member but I have finally found my dream Glenny. I bought a Glenfield Model 30 in 35 Rem from MO member deerhog a couple weeks back. I have been looking for one of these very rare Glennys for about three years now. They are about as hard to find as a Unicorn.

Awesome! Mine is a 67, is yours a tack driver as well? After putting on some new wood (I refinished & matched a birch forearm to a walnut), I put a Vortex Crossfire II 2-7 on mine last week and was shooting clover leaf groups at 100 yards. I will be definitely taking mine into the woods this season.

Yep--mine is a tack driver along with my 1967 Glenny Mod 30 in 30-30=0 and my 1979 Glenny Mod 30GT 30-30=0. They all shoot very well for me---the 35 Rem will be my ground blind rifle this year.

    Pics of my 1967 Glenny Model 30 30-30=0 and a 1979 Glenny Model 30GT 30-30=0.
DSCN0906a.JPGIMGP0173.JPGThe Glenny 30GT no longer has an old 1960s Japanese Tasco 4x--it was replaced with a Weaver V3 1-3X

    Ret_Eng,

I like your Glenny 30GT 30-30. Which Glenfield 30-30, if any, came with barrel bands?

    Nice

    Why don't you shoot them?
