    2035 jc penneys marlin model 80

    Im curious to know if anyone else has this model it was bought in 1973 and in like new condition i only put about 500 rounds through it its a tack driver at 100 yards

    Yes, I found one in a Pawn Shop about 5 years ago. It sat on the rack for over a year. It was so beat up, nobody would buy it.
    I had been looking for a bolt action, so I felt sorry for it and brought it home.
    It turns out to be the most accurate .22LR that I own. Not very picky about ammo either. Can't say that about some of the other Marlin bolt actions that I have acquired since getting that one.

    I have the Sears model 41 which is a single shot .22 made in the 50's and 60's, must pull the pin back manual to shoot! It's a shooter also.

    Model 80 grandpa to the 780,880, & 980 series of 22 bolt actions, should be an excellent shooter congrats!!
