It has a tapered barrel and the tapering starts right at the muzzle. My muzzle measures .625". It measures .635" at the ramp screw hole...
Hello all. Can anyone tell me the diameter of a Model 60 barrel at the front sight?
I'm searching for a screw-on front sight ramp to accept a dovetailed sight post. My rifle (not a model 60) has a .560 diameter barrel at the front sight. Most available ramp specs do not list the barrel radius they fit, but there are several for Model 60s (which have the same attachment screw & location as my rifle), and I'm hoping they are somewhat compatible.
Thanks !

Maybe a Papoose might fit. It's smaller IIRC.
