    Pawn shop find

I went into a pawn shop I had never been to, most times I find they want new prices for guns. Well right in the middle of big bore bolt guns was a super nice mod 60. Yep it followed me home, marked at $119, it looks like it has been used very little. It is marked North Haven #031 first 3 digits.

That's a 1997 model. Should have a long barrel and short tube. So it was marked 119. Did you pay sticker or ask em how long they've had it and haggle the price down?

It's along barrel long mag tube, he would go no lower but he threw in a 4 oz bottle of g 96 oil.My said it is a proper rifle Blue & walnut.

Your model 70 should have a box magazine. Maybe a 75c would have a short tube.

A 75 would have a tube that is shorter then the barrel. A 75C has a shorter carbine length barrel and a tube that is the same length as the barrel. IIRC.
The 75 has a 9 rd mag tube and the 75C has a 14 rd mag tube.
