Has any one done it? Or change out barrel and clip base plate?

.22WMR groove diameter is .002" smaller in diameter than a .22LR barrel. .002" is a mile when it comes to ballistics. I strongly suspect chamber pressure would spike. The bolt face will probably need to be opened up as well to accommodate the larger rim diameter. The magnum rim is about 1/64th of an inch larger.

What this country needs is a department of common sense! The tree of liberty would be a great place for hang mans ropes!
