    Range closed because of fire danger. So as soon as they open up again will be ther with bells on

    well made it to the range. tried all recommendations shooting was verry good.but i went ahead and did the mod to 45-90 all loads with 500 gr bullets using a drop tube for bp 85 gr compressed .120 90 gr compressed .250 .i belive its a lighter recoil than 39.5 gr of imr 4198. then aa 5744 started at 29 gr went to 39 gr also a good shooter. shoulder feels fine the henry has a hole in the stock for the bolt at the but plate that hole is 3.985deep .866 wide 2.76 long i filled that with a bag filled with #9 shot.rifle with scope and bag of shot is 10.5 lbs i love this rifle almost as much as my 1895gbl. thank you all for you help.
