    Walther sportmodell V

This came in to one of my favorite pawn shops last year and the price was rite. I knew nothing of these but could tell it was a very well built rifle. It is a single shot, has a very heavy barrel and an adjustable trigger. The bore is excellent.DSC00276.jpgCompared to the k98 its dimensions are very similar and weight was less than three ounces under.IMG_20190703_193726159.jpgIMG_20190703_193926670.jpgIMG_20190703_193939696.jpgIMG_20190724_122146551_HDR.jpgIMG_20190703_194017757.jpgIMG_20190724_122221680.jpgThanks for looking,John.

Those are top shelf rifles. I had one once but it was abused. It had been WW2 bring home. My Bro got a Walther 22 a couple years ago that had clip magazine. It also could be used as a bolt action or semi auto. I think it was a J22 Sporter. Very nice and accurate rifle. One of his inlaws loaded it with CCI Stingers and it snapped the ball off bolt handle. Rifle was made in 20s and wasn't made for HV let alone hyper vel 22 ammo.
