    LH Abolt Medallion 25-06 value?

    I am consolidating calibers of my bolt actions to .308 and 30-06. Wanting to know what you think my older Abolt Medallion 25-06 value would be if I would sell it? Its wood and blue in very good condition, excellent accuracy. Prices now days seem to be all over the place. Thanks.

    I'd search around online at gunbroker, gunsamerica, armslist, etc., and see what similar rifles are selling/asking for to give you a ballpark figure if you haven't already. Then list it in the Trading Post here to see what happens...

    Lefties are a harder sell and Brownings are under valued in my opinion. That being said there are a number of A Bolt fans out there (me being one of them).

    Justducky;

    Check Fjestad's Blue Book Of Gun Value's also. Any LGS or pawn shop should have one on hand. Due to the lead time for print materials it may not be spot-on, but it'll for sure get you in the ball park. Just offhand, as a lefty mind you, I'd think $600.00 as a minimum given very good condition.

    Now that the A-Bolts are getting harder to find - the value seems to be coming back up.
    I had a 223 in a left handed A-Bolt in my hand at a local sports store, and put it back on the rack.
    STILL! kicking myself over that one! It had a price tag of $699 - and my wife was with me! LOL

    600 bucks would be about right around my parts.

    $450-500 here in AZ and it will either sell in one day or take a couple of weeks. The lefty market is very iffy, Seems like I always over pay when I buy one and take a hit when I sell one.

    All the lefties I know shoot right hand bolt action, lever and auto-loader rifles. I always though that left handed persons were ambidextrous force by their environment. I find it odd when I use my wife's broom because the bristle are worn out to the left and I must sweep left handed to do a good job.

    My Avatar is my brother John who left me to soon. He was 10 Y/O 1 month older than me. He took me off the Streets of Brooklyn taught me how to handle a rifle and to hunt. For his attention I would always be grateful. Rest in Peace Brother John.
