    Seen 3 roadkills yesterday

    So beware, the great Northeastern woodchucks are on the
    Prowl.
    Seen 3 fresh road kills yesterday on my bus trip.
    One was Huge, could have been the new world record.
    Don't attempt to cross any open fields without a weapon
    There hungry.
    Leave at least 40 yards between you and and brush rows
    Or treelines or stone walls. So you have time to respond
    To an unprovoked attack.

    Funny you mention that. On my way home from work I saw 3 roadkill's. Coyotes, all appeared to be heading northeast, probably stalking those 3 groundhogs!! Lol. Now on a more serious note, I did see 3 coyotes dead along the road and a couple groundhogs. Also in the past couple weeks I've seen several coyotes on my way home from work which is after midnight. They seem to be really active this time of year?? Our groundhog population has been down for several years. Wish it would come back!!

    Them whistle pigs musta headed to nc. We got lots of them.
    However complicated the issues become... it comes down to one simple question. Which is more important to you Life or Liberty? I've made my decision long ago.

    The coyotes have just about wiped out groundhogs in this area. There is a small comeback in small animal populations. The coyotes are thinning out. The thinking on this is they have moved on to areas with better food sources. I travel 60 mile a day on round trip and 40 mi is rural. Coming home in evening in summer I would easily see 50 groundhogs in farm fields. The last 5 yrs I would be lucky to see one in a weeks time. That one would be in someone's yard.
