Update - Original Brass Skinner 1895 Sight for Loan

Hi guys... Just wanted to give everyone an update on the original Skinner Sight that was provided as a loaner for members to try. For those that are new here, Skinner Sights provided an original sight that was free of charge and was to be circulated between members using an honor system. This would give members a chance to try it out and see how they liked it before purchasing. This sight has been out there between us for over ten years now. I recently reached out and contacted Skinner Sights to inquire if they would be interested in receiving it back before I would make it available once again. Kinda like a "coming home" celebration. Figured they might want to take a look at it or other uses.

Skinner's reply was "Absolutely".... Send her back. We may retire that one and send a new one out in its place. So off it went and it should be in Skinners possession now. They also requested for me to let them know who, if anyone, was next in line which I didn't know of anyone at that time, but have since seen an inquiry and also received an PM from fellow member "RiskyBusiness" asking to try it next... So Skinner Sights... next in line is "RiskyBusiness" if you plan on continuing this service.

Maybe we should start a new thread on "where has this sight been". I bet it would surprise quite a few of us.

And in ending guys.... I think we should all should give a big shout out and thanks to Skinner Sights for this promotion and they're support over the years. I know I'm thankful for them.

Take care and thanks again.... Bill
