Skinner sights get an easy 10 for many reasons. I own XS/Ashley, Brockmans, and Skinner sights. All are good. The funny thing is the Skinner sight costs half as much as the others and works as well or better. Not to mention, only Skinner is available in blue, stainless or brass. Not to mention #2, Unlike the others, Skinner makes a specific sight for each gun; 39a, 1894, 1895.

10, I use the skinner sights on my .35 Rem you will not find anything better. I keep mine sighted in at 100 yards with my go to load of a 225 grain cast bullet. Then I shoot out to 175 yards ALOT, I know what my trajectory is and these sights rock. Oh yea get the skinner front sight for sure.
