What are you taking out for the season opener ... I'm torn between Savage and Marlin

Minnesota deer opener is 11/9. I'm pondering which rifle to take out for the opener. It will be one of these four, none have been to the stand.
    Top to bottom: 1943 EG (with T forearm) in .250-3000 with a Giffin & Howe mounted Unertl 6x, 1980 Savage Model 99-375; 1980 Marlin Model 375, 1999 Marlin 444P.
I'm leaning towards the .250-3000; I've taken bucks with the 300 and 303 Savage and would like to add the .250-3000 to the list. What are you taking out?

Well, I took my 1969 336 in 30-30 for the doe only hunt, and it will be with me again on the regular modern gun opener. Hard to leave it at home and take something else.

NH starts the 13th. I'll be taking the 1973 Win94 30-30 with LEE 170 cast and powder coated. My cast shoots only 1/2" different from the jacketed stuff at 50 yards. No need to re-sight.

I plan to meat hunt this year and put my sons/grandson on the best stands for Venado Macho. Opening morning I'll probably take my Styer mountain rifle in 260 Remington and just sit among a motte of brush and trees over a big clearing. The shot will likely be long. After opening weekend, I plan to sit on a stand that affords shots of 100 yds. or less with my stainless Marlin Guide Gun chopped to 16 inch threaded barrel with a silencerco hybrid suppressor and 405 Grain subsonic loads. We have lots of hogs. That's when the real fun will begin. I am anxious to see how they will respond to virtually no muzzle report, just a loud slap when it hits one of their compadres. As the season wears on I'll probably take a savage 99 or two hunting and maybe a Remington 81 in 300 savage.

The first to go out is my CVA Optima V2 50 cal since our ML season begins on Nov 2nd. I think my '57 336RC in 35 Rem will be out first for the firearms season--its shot the best out of the many I have tested this summer/early fall. My '27 Savage 99H 30-30 will go out after the Marlin---that one shot tight groups as well.

I don't bow hunt but that has been going on in my part of VA for most of Oct. ML runs two weeks in Nov--then modern firearms lasts from 16 Nov to 4 Jan.
