Older Glenfield 25, year markings and FTE?

Stray dogs and old .22's are two things I can't pass up. I picked up this nice older Glenfield 25 pre S/N.
Any idea how to estimate the date?
What does the "KK" stamp on the barrel mean?
Is this a replacement bolt handle?
Looks like it was tapped for a scope on the left side.
Nice shooter but it has a hard time ejecting the spent cartridge, see pics & video below. Any you have to cycle the bolt a few times to get it eject. Any suggestions on repair?

    Ejection wire looks worn.

Try bending the ejector wire a bit higher.

Tweak that ejector wire and you should be good to go, looks just like one of mine, same age, same bolt style, Happy Shootin'.

I concur, the ejector wire doesn't look to be fitting high enough in the bolt groove. Let us know if it improves.
