Savage model 340/Revelation 225
My brother-in-law inherited a Revelation model 225, 30-30 bolt action, box magazine fed rifle after my father-in-law passed away in 2011. The Revelation brand was sold through Western Auto (I miss those stores) but was in reality, a Savage model 340. Kind of like Marlin/Glenfield.
Anyway, he's having some issues with it not ejecting spent shells depending on the brand of ammo. (His words - it's finicky and only does it with certain ammo.) My first suggestion to him was to tear it down and give it a thorough cleaning and oiling because I can guarantee you my father-in-law probably never cleaned it. Numrich does have extractor and ejector parts. Just wondering if anyone here has one of these rifles and if you've had the same problem?
