today was one of those days, how did it go
helped widow lady down the road with her washing machine, I'm not the Maytag man, washer still don't work
rode the bush hog around a bit
    fed the cats
thought about setting up a couple trail cams
but I feel like I should be doing more

I'd say you did just fine. I still work full time, but some weekends (like this past one), I didn't do that much in two days!

I know what you mean, seems like the day just gets away from you. I got a big list of stuff to do on the farm, but it’s not shrinking very fast!
I used to give my Daddy a hard time after he retired because he had the same problem. He said he worked day and night most of his life and if he wanted to sleep in every day he would! Guess the apple didn’t fall too far from the tree.
But seriously, I’ll hit it hard for a few days and slack off a few. Things really slow down for deer season. As far as feeling bad about not getting much done, you’ll get over it!

What this country needs is a department of common sense! The tree of liberty would be a great place for hang mans ropes!

I had big plans for today but decided to clean up the rifles I got at the show this weekend. They came out well. The only other positive accomplishments were taking he trash from last week to the dump site and I finally got two traps set. May set another one or two tomorrow, if I get around to it.
