    The over the hill gang

This can be a place for guys trying to stay fit.
Post , pictures/ ideas of your adventures walks, bike rides
Things you do for fun , row your boat , paddle your kayak.
Just going for a walk with your camera getting pictures of
    Wildlife or flowers.
I have been walking for years 2/3/4 miles a day with my best friend maddy. She left me on April 11, at 01:30 AM.
    But i keep walking.
And just a few day's ago i dragged out two of my bikes, i haven't road in thirty years.
And they need work, new tires, brake pads etc.
And on this morning's walk, i have set a goal for my self
To ride into camp santanoni , again this fall and get some
    Great pictures to post.
Iam 70 years old. But iam not throwing in the towel yet.
This was yesterday picture of my AT bike after i got it out of the shed

Hiking/ walking up hill both ways is great exercise, and in the woods is even better.

There's no furnace at my house, no little dial on the wall. If I want to keep my self warm, it takes about 30 Toyota loads to make it through from September to June. Since Jewel died,I am responsible for all the wood, not many folks want to help. My neighbor Mike brought me some uncut logs last year, it was a long cold Winter, and he was worried I might freeze. All Summer I shoot targets, lay around, and do as little as possible, because on September 1st, the exercise program starts up again. I'm 70, not all the way dead. Yet.

At 51 I'm not really old, but I have noticed that I that I seem to be slowing down a little.
One activity I enjoy is doing habitat work on the family property to benefit wildlife.
    Yesterday I created a 1/4 acre clear-cut with brushpiles.
    Earned my supper for sure.

You'd have cleared a half acre if you were running a Husky.

You must do a lot of under cutting, the way you mounted the bar.
