    It Causes Cancer? Really?

I went to a gunstore to buy powder. I have used Varget before, so asked for some and was told they had none. The guy said they stopped importing it because of a European ban, based on the coating causing cancer. Do they think we are eating it? Ridiculous.

So you don't taste yours to make sure it is still fresh? Odd.

VinceA, actually back in the 17th or 18th century I believe they added gunpowder to their food to give them extra vigour. I just diddnt know some still did it...

Grandpa put a spoonful on his morning cereal every day. Blew a 6 foot hole in the crematory wall on his way out.

My shooting buddy in Italy says that "real men" won't eat sausages preserved with nitrates or nitrites because they destroy your manhood by pickling your testicles. Only traditional farmer's salame cruda is permitted among the mountain people. The grocery store sausages are intended for the French, Swiss and German tourists, and roma immigrants from Eastern Europe, being crucial in the papal, clerico-Marxist plot to control excess population.
