I gave the Eulogy for Ed at his Remembrance Service this past saturday afternoon. I tell ya--it was tough saying goodby for the final time. I didn't break down in front of the packed church audience but I came close---us Cold War soldiers are supposed to cry on the inside only. I will miss Ed and will always reflect back on the good times we had in the service, shooting on his farm, going to gun shows, testing out his home made wine, and as working together for Uncle Sam as DoD contractors. He was a great man and friend.

How did I miss this? Prayers sent, Jay. I know how tough it is losing long time friends but they live on in our memories.

Just to provide further explanation of my buddy's passing--Ed passed away from an undiagnosed enlarged heart. Found out about that late last week. The docs never knew of it even though Ed had a physical done every year. I guess when your time is up--your time is up.
