good luck with the treatment. Stay positive.

My wife's grandma refused any kind of treatment & in the end she regretted her decision. but it was too late to do anything.

    Congrats on your Sharps rifle.

Prayer Update. Today I went to my first radiation treatment.Arrived at 8:00 Am and was taken back to the long table. They laided me down and started clamping my head down to the table with that contraption called the mask. The first time they set me on the table last week they placed a neck cradle similar to what you would see on an autopsy table. it positioned my chin in a upward angle with the back of my head touching the table. While that was uncomfortable I felt it was necessary to shoot my neck in the best position. Today when they set me up I could feel a difference around my mouth and chin. The neck collar was different and put me in a different position. The first day they made the mask I told the Doctor that I was becoming claustrophobic,so she ordered a mild prescription of mellow out pill, which I took this morning before arriving. With all these factors in play, I was strapped down. The different position of my chin had to be the problem, the mesh clamped my mouth shut so bad that I could not open my mouth to breath. In about 30 seconds I freaked out and told them get me out of this contraption. They got me out of it and wanted the doctor to come in and talk with me. I told them that wasn't necessary, I know I have to do this and then told them what was happening. They said lets just cut you some eyes slits. I told them very nicely that I didn't care to see what was going as much as I wanted to be able to breath. So they cut a slit in the mouth area so I could actually open my mouth to breath and swallow. After that I spent about 45 minutes on rearrangement procedures and the actual radiation treatment. Next I went for the cemo treatment. That took 5 hours, 4.5 treatment and waiting time. The doctor said they did a slow presentation of the cemo to make sure I didn't have any adverse reactions. I had my cellphone so I could go online and occupy my self but I forgot my reading glasses. I brought me a western book to read but couldn't read it. Took a nap woke up hunger and started talking to the elderly black woman beside me about me going home and cooking my Father a Spaghetti supper with salad and garlic bread. We both dosed of and She woke me up snoring very loud. When my wife came to pick me up, we where standing in the lobby talking with the receptionists. She asked me how my day went and I told her I had a very exciting day. She said how so. I told her I had never slept with a black girl and today was my first time. I told her and my wife that it was nothing like I imagined. And that I found out there are women who actually snore louder than my wife. The whole lobby, receptionist, my wife and me got a good laugh.
