    Here's my .22 Marlin

I picked up a model 39 years ago with the clunky, fat wood. Bought it as a practice CAS rifle but hated the look. I got up with Marlin and found out that they could rebbl my rifle with an 1897 octogon bbl. I sent them my rifle and a ck and when it returned I reshaped the fat butt and forarm and remounted the forearm. Now it looks like a 97. Much nicer.
