Hi. I'm from Ogdensburg, now living in Buffalo. I've got a lot of "upstate" covered. Depending on where the rest of you guys are, maybe we could get together for a shoot?
    Ogdensburg - really upstate!

    Re: Upstate NY Hunters/Shooters

I drove up to Niagara and went over the Rainbow bridge to Toronto. That's the closes I came to Buffalo. But I understand the best whitetail deer in the USA are in the finger lakes region. I read this in an article in American Hunter magazine. I know there are great looking deer in the Adirondacks. I would go up there more if I had company ether up there or travel with me. I do have a friend who has a camp house in Richmondville NY. nice hunting areas.

My Avatar is my brother John who left me to soon. He was 10 Y/O 1 month older than me. He took me off the Streets of Brooklyn taught me how to handle a rifle and to hunt. For his attention I would always be grateful. Rest in Peace Brother John.

How did everyone do this past hunting season?

Myself, not so lucky, all that I saw were prints and droppings. Saw no deer and lots of squirrels.

Rawjuice, managed to connect on a nice 4 point. Deer seemed to be real skiddish this season, the increasing coyote population was a major factor.
