I have three sets of Crimson Trace grips for small revolvers. They all required significant adjustment. IMHO, what range you decide to zero to requires considering your circumstances. I don't think there is one right answer.

In my experience, the Crimson Trace grips slow down my first shot. However I have little doubt they would help my accuracy under stress. I go back and forth on leaving them on my carry revolvers.
