    NEF .223 value

Prices for NEF’s seem to be in flux. What’s a fair asking price for a laminate stock NEF in .223? VG at least condition. No marks on rifle, perfect bore and crown
    Thanks

Having owned several NEF/H&R guns I would say they are usually worth more in parts than as a complete rifle. If you are a member, Graybeard Outdoors has a separate classifieds for these guns.

Blessed are the flexible for they shall not be bent out of shape.

I had seen some crazy gunbroker prices recently. Bought it without scope 4 years ago for $200. Will keep it if prices are still that low.

Seen two today at separate locations both looked to be in similar condition $275.00 and $450.00.

Bet the $450 one won’t be going anywhere.

All depends...if it is a 45 Colt or 357 Magnum I've seen them sold for that and sometimes higher. Seems all other calibers fall into the $200-$250 range in my area.

In a popular caliber like .223 and with laminated stock, very good condition and not making any more of them, $300
would be my starting point, not a penny less.

I bought one today H&R Ultra in 22-250 with the fluted barrel, with a Konus 4X24X44 scope in great condition for $225out the door.
