    Dual sport

Any dual sport riders on here? I ride a 2007 KLX250s all over the State Forests of PA. Have found riding on dirt at 30-40 to be as much fun as burning along on a sport bike.

I don’t have one, but have been looking at them for about a year. I would love to get one. If I can ever make my mind up which one to buy!

I got a DRZ 400e, kicks ass. Good for pokin around the cattle on the farm, enough power to spit you off and I got a set of road tires and rims I can throw on for a blast on the black stuff- puts a lot of big road bikes to shame in the twisty bits.
Only down side is it ain't real comfy for long hauls, have plans for a better seat one day.

I have a 300 exc and was down in PA 2 weekends ago. Rode the marianville bike trail on sat, sunday was rocky gap. I love the dirt better than the blacktop. My ktm get rode more than my honda valk.I wish NY state didnt protect the dirt like they do we have no place to ride compared to PA.

I have a DRZ 200, good for running to town(5 miles up the road) to get that one item needed to finish a project, and great to comb the forest roads looking to see when the mushrooms are coming up, or the huckleberries are ripe for picking.

I am on my third Honda NC700XD (auto) and luv em. It’s more of a duel sports wannabe, better on pavement than off, but enjoy it both ways.

Nice set up. We’re leaning to a little more spoiled camping. A RV carrying the bikes behind it. Looking for a TW200 for my wife. I like the adventure touring bikes. Been tempted by them. But big cc’s encourage my throttle hand, I love speed and these old bones heal slow.

Thanks. I may be just a bit ahead of ya. I bought this used Class-B RV last winter and just had it 4x4 converted (new bigger rims and tires go on tomorrow). Instead of long cross country trips on the bike to get to an area I want to explore on the bike, I now will drive there in comfort. Also got a standup Kendon m/c trailer for it (easy to store on its small footprint when not in use).

New Wheels/Tires, more appropriate for the 3.73 to 4.10 gear change.

Just sold a 2017 XR650L but still running my 2015 KLR. Also have a 05 ST 1300 for road cruising. Been riding off road for over 50 years.

2013 DR650. But at age 69, I'm finding even minor injuries are taking a long time to heal, if at all. As such, I no longer do the off-road scene. But it was fun as long as it lasted.
