    Another horse in the stable

    I just picked me up an XL7 in .270. I wanna different stock, and I cant wait to sight it in.

    I just put mine in a Boyd's laminate stock a few months ago. Haven't shot it yet to see if it still drives nails with the stock change. Waiting for springtime for that. Getting to old and soft for winter shooting sessions. I don't think there are any other stock choices other than Boyd's or tracking down a factory wood stock.

    Do you reload .270 is one of my favorite cals. my son in law has the same gun. it shoots great.

    I dont yet, I remember my last XS7 was a tac driver with handloads.

    Congrats on the new rifle! Love my leverguns and their cartridges but... 270 is my go-to choice in most situations.
