    40th Wedding anniversary today

Did not know where else to post this but today my wife and I are married 40 years. Celebrated by staying home and having steaks on the grill
and breaded butterfly shrimp from the deep fryer. Also had baked potatoes, creamed corn, and french style green beans. We could not have had a better meal eating at a restuarant! We were just kids when we married in Hawaii. I was in the Navy and just made E-5 at 19 years old.
Wife was a sweet young thing of 18. We've both aged a bit but she is still as sweet to me as she was 40 years ago. She walks into the room and takes my breath away still!! Thank God I've had her to back me all these years! Still in love too.

    Congrats to both of you!

My late husband I and I were married when he was in the USN too. Vietnam and around the world tours. He was older than you at the time we got married though. We were happily married for 33.5 years.

I am remarried now and Montana Man, on this forum, is my husband.

    Congrats!
