    Wow, a buck? I've hauled home so many free frosting buckets from WalMart and Supermarket bakeries that I quit doing it. Got 'em everywhere, use 'em for everything! Never made any Marlin spacers with 'em though, but the lid would be perfect.

    Plexiglass works great and sands down easy. You can get it in 1\16 to 1\8 inch thickness just get the opaque white color. White Lexan works too.

    Just curious if anyone has ever made spacers from a color other than white
