Nice collection. Do you plan to start your own collection or sell them? Would be a great start to start your own collection for sure. You're one lucky guy.

Great collection! Tell me more about #20. Marlin produced 500 of those rifles in 1960. Each one is numbered on the top of the tang. What number is that one? Please add more pictures on the 39A’s.

Afraid you need to give more serial number info to determine approx. age on the older guns. You can give all but the last two digits, but use "x" for the last two digits. So a number like 30567 would look like 305xx. A gun like #8 or #11 can't be determined without knowing how many digits in the number, and the first few digits are the most important.

And a gun like #25 or #12 would be tough to have been built a decade before it was designed or released for sale.

    #20-Missing a prefix, can't tell you.
    #4-1941
    #27-1901
    #12-late 1920's
    #8-1901
    #11-early to mid 1920's.

The dates given are in some case guesstimates for the late 1800's to early 1900's guns, as they may show up in the records as different ship dates. Marlin did not record both manufacture dates and ship dates; only ship dates.

THANK YOU!!! For your help/knowledge. I believe #20 is a 1960 90th anniversary will double check for a prefix.

You have some very beautiful pieces for sure, be sure to get help from one of the experts on here should you decide to sell any of them.
