    Marlin 30-TK’s

I know the Model 30-TK was only made from 1988 to 1990 for K-Mart, but wondered if anyone knows how many were produced during that time.

No idea as to the numbers of them, but in 7 years of looking I've found one, which a friend bought before I could. My eyes are always peeled looking for a 30KT. Sooner or later, sooner or later.

What's the appeal of those? Not familiar with how they are different.

336, straight stock, short mag tube. I've had the chance to acquire one a number of times and never did. For some reason they just don't appeal to me. I do have a Kmart shotgun though in my "store brand" collection. It actually has Kmart stamped on it.

The main appeal for me is the 3/4 magazine and straight stock make for the best looking 336 model in my opinion. Also the inherent better accuracy attributed to the manner in which the magazine to the barrel is another plus.
