    .219 Zipper

I have a ‘57 Zipper that I dearly love. My question is....has anyone ever seen such a light stamp on the barrel that it is so hard to read you have to have a magnifying glass or jewelers loop? It has worn blueing but not to the point of wearing off the steel. Was this an issue?

Thanks guys. I love it either way. It’s a shooter. Everyone I’ve ever been around it with is impressed of its accuracy. Fun to shoot for sure

I've owned some Marlins with pretty faint rollstamps, even not reblued. Round barrels often have lighter rollstamps than octagon barrels. But I'd agree that in your Zipper's case it's likely been buffed off during reblue.
