    2018 Hunitng season/s....

Well do any of you already have and/or making plans for this years seasons?

Boy I am...did not get anything last season, but got on elk and deer many times. We have three spots to scout this year and two of them we nearly got a shot off on some elk. So we already have plans on where we are setting up our base camp and plan to set up a drop camp below to expand our area and not have to hike back up to camp.

Should be a lot of fun.

I will post pics of camp when it is set. Planning on being out there the 6th of Sept through the 23rd.

Here in my home state of Washington, my son and I plan to hunt black bear, elk and mule deer. Those are all "over-the-counter" tags, and already in hand. We've also put in for some special permits, have to wait to see how the draw turns out for those. I'm bowhunting for elk and mule deer this year in Washington. Rifle for bear. My son is sticking with rifle for all his big game hunting. We've done well on bear, deer and elk here before. I have hopes for success again!

Of course we'll have the dog and shotguns out for pheasant and chukar as usual. Love that stuff!

And I've again applied for mule deer & pronghorn in Wyoming. Always enjoy that hunt!

Best of luck to all the hunters this season!

Awesome post and great pics! Thanks for sharing, sorry I took so long to respond, just super busy.

Getting ready to head down the Riggins the Mid of June to go salmon fishing. Should be good.

I already bought my single buck tag good for archery or firearms, but I only hunt firearms. I got my bear application in that should be a shoe-in for a single bear tag. I've got some work to do at the bear bait site that I have to complete by mid August. I'm ready.

Bought mule deer draw application for my old stomping grounds in Mono Co with second choice in Inyo Co. Areas I know and have done well. Purchased a bear tag also. That will be it for me this year.
