    Brand new LEO

    Just wanted to share this.
My 23 year old son was hired yesterday by our local city department.
He will be starting the academy in Jan while finishing his last 3 college courses.
He told me last night he is officially the low man of the totem pole "Dad, I am standing in the dirt I am so low...I can only go up."
He has always wanted to serve his community and is very happy and excited to be an officer.
Please join my wife and I in sharing his happiness and praying for his saftey.

Great! I will say a prayer for your boy for protection from all evil! My best friend was a LEO, cancer took him.

Ditto on prayers for a careers worth of safety for your son. Thank him for his choice to serve. I retired after a 30 year
LEO career and enjoyed all of it.

I wish him the very best and pray for his safety. I hope the City Govt. backs up their officers!

Choosing to be a LEO is a selfless act and deserves respect.

As a a parent, I pray for you and your wife as well.

Congratulations to your son. Seems like only yesterday (1972) I was where he is now. It is a demanding yet rewarding career. It is like being in the military, either bored stiff or frantic. Sounds as though he will do well.
