Simple guy happy with my Skinner's

Just got two custom made for me Skinner's from a knife maker up in Newfoundland Canada. D-3 steel, ironwood handles...I sent him a picture of the type knife I wanted and he made them, one for me and one for my son. I am pleased with the workmanship...excited to try them out. I shot a buck this season and my son and his boys and wife shot and dressed out and processed six deer this year so his at least will get a test next year. I will post pictures of the knives. Also. Happy to provide contact info for this guy if you pm me. I got no skin in this game cause my only interaction with this gentleman was getting him to make my knives.never met him in person. Thought his prices were very very reasonable for custom made knife. He can use whatever steel you have a hankering for and is happy to worked with you to get the knife you want. Couldn't hurt to visit with him some and look over what he does
