    Had it with selfish people!

Lost my cool today. I was just in Walgreen's and saw a dude whose cart was FULL to the brim with hand sanitizer, baby wipes, liquid soap, and toilet paper.
I called him selfish and gave him the lowdown about the elderly, people with kids, and disabled people who need this stuff. Told him I ought to stomp his butt.
He said: “Are you done? Because I really need to get back to restocking the shelves now!!"

Could not find a loaf of bread the last two days. Bought a raspberry danish instead. YUM! French toast be damned!

    Good one, BJ!

J Bobway, same up here, not one slice of bread of any kind, all stores are sold out. No eggs, frozen veggies, chicken, hamburger, on and on. I asked one of the store clerks when they expect a shipment, he said they expect a huge shipment tomorrow. One can only hope as we could use some fill in's.

No eggs at local grocers. I asked the stocker when they be getting more in. He said, "in 2-3 days". I went back the next day and it was stocked full of eggs.
They really have no idea when and what is coming in until it gets there. One of the nice things the local grocers are doing is to open from 709am a couple of days each week for the old folks. Bread and milk no issue here. But tp is scarce.

Guy at Trader Joe's told me I missed eggs by an hour the other day.
So I went in an hour earlier next day and voila - I got two dozen.
My wife is getting orders lined up for delivery over the next month.
Best advice is have substitutes as well as the item you want since the items are continually dropping off and reappearing on your orders.

We're good for a month or so on items that don't keep for months or years. I'll probably start topping off in a couple weeks just to keep it going. We have long lines at stores, but they seem to be keeping most food stuffs well stocked. At least that's what I observed a week ago. Might have changed.

So far nothing is hard to find around here except for TP !!

In the last 5 stores, nothing.

We're getting low, but not out yet !!

    Going to try again Saturday.

And I thought Ammo was the thing to keep, lol.
