    Goodness. Not something I would want to shoot much. Even with a slow powder, thats gonna hurt.

    DB .410 Pistol.

    Db .410 pistol, used for despatching animals in cage traps, 1/2 no 7 shot 2" cartridge. No ricochets or damage to Trap, hits as a solid charge.Gar

    My great uncle down in WVa mountains had a Marbels Game Getter that was 22/410. That was his trapping gun as well as anything that annoyed him around the farm. My dad was always trying to trade him out of it. A very useful utility gun but came under illegal in short barrel shotgun back in 30s. One of my uncles destroyed it after his dad died worried about legal problems. Today I think you can get them registered legally but I don't know the procedure when it's at large and illegal. Many of these type shotguns were turned in or destroyed when law went into effect. Others were destroyed by heirs like my great uncles to avoid legal problems. Not many of these useful guns survived. Most of the gun companies made some type of shotgun pistol aimed at pest control or garden guns. Ithaca made doubles called Auto Burgular guns. Most were swallowed up and destroyed as a result of Gun Control Act.
