    H&R misfires

I️ have an H&R 30-30 Ilion New York manufacture. I️ can shoot about 5 Times then a misfire. The transfer bar will fall out of the way. I’m pulling trigger back and holding it so I️ know that’s not the problem. I’ve tried several different ammo with same result. Any advice on how to solve this?

Have you actually tried contacting the manufacturer?

    They're no longer produced kindstrider.

I would suggest jumping on Youtube and taking it apart. It sounds to me like maybe your lifter spring is either sticking or broken. You can find the parts at Numrich

Yes i did. Talked to a guy that acted like he could care less and it is not under warranty.

I did not know that but did know that Marlin owned them. The website is still active but I am not surprised if they won't honor their end of the deal to service them.

Guy told me to send the rifle in they would check it out then let me know how much it would cost to fix it. I had to pull that much info out of him.

Madison Customer Support will have you send it to one of their repair centers, from the experience of GBO members that have done this, you're better off either fixing it yourself or having a local smith do it. I posted a possible fix in your other post in the Open H&R forum, you can also go thru the FAQs on GBO for misfires and failure to fire(FTF), download Perklo's trigger work instructions for complete R&R of the action, link also in the FAQs, GBO link below.
