SB2 denotes H&R/NEF heat treated investment cast alloy steel frame used on all of their high pressure rifles as well as 10ga firearms made 1987 on, it has nothing to do with the marking on barrels other than to confuse people. SB1 denotes ductile cast iron frames used on shotguns as well as 357mag and 44mag rifles starting in 2008.
