Scented candles for MEN- where are they?!

I like scented candles. (My wife loves 'em, so yeah, I like 'em, too. Happy wife, happy life. ) She likes lavender and peach and sandlewood beaches and country kitchen cooking smells, that sort of thing, so that's what we have in the house.

But there're times - like now, sitting in my den with the computer in front of me and two floor-to-ceiling bookshelves behind me against the back wall, and sounds of outdoors playing on the speakers - when I want to light a candle that smells like campfire smoke, or leather and whiskey, or tobacco and pipes. Something appropriate to fill the room while reading Classic Carmichel - Stories From The Field, by Jim Carmichel, or perusing the latest issue of Field & Stream.

I've seen some these candles on Amazon.com, but was wondering if anyone has any recommendations based on personal experience?

Now, I know what some of you are going to recommend, but pouring a glass of Kentucky bourbon and placing it on a leather coaster, then lighting a pipe packed with good Cavendish tobacco, is not really an option for me. (See above reference to happy wife.) And lighting a campfire on the floor . . . . . just, no.

Not here. I got some of those Hoppe's No.9 car air fresheners and first off, they didn't smell like Hoppe's and good thing too, because they only lasted 3 days and then didn't smell at all.

I saw the title and expected to read about BACON scented candles...

I like scented candles too... I usually go with Colonial, Chesapeake Bay or Yankee... I like the citrus', melons or spice ones...

I've sniffed bacon scented candles in the store. Left 'em there, too.

Fooled me I thought it would be, wet dog, locker room, dirty socks.

I wouldn't buy a candle that smelled like wet Labrador but I probably would buy one that smelled like that shotgun shell you just ejected after a shot at a grouse in the middle of October.
It's what you learn after you know it all that makes a difference.

I prefer 100% beeswax unscented for fluxing while casting bullets.

I think scented candles should be outlawed under cruel and unusual punishment. When the pumpkin and apple pie scents first came out I almost hurt myself several times. You come in house and smell that you get in a hurry to get your boots off to score a slab of pie. I have tripped over boot laces in my hast only to find out it's a lousy candle. Women thought that was funny. There is nothing funny about no pie.
