    tearing up.
I think he's tired of trying. How do you fight something that's
    pretty much already killed you?
That is what happened to my FIL--he finally gave into to the COPD that killed him. He couldn't walk and was on oxygen near the very end. He hated what was happening to him physically but couldn't do anything about it. He also missed his wife dearly--she passed about a year and a half before he did. He was quite a guy--Korean War Vet and he lent me his Rem Mod 721 to use on my first mullie deer hunt.

Good morning all. ...........Try'n to get my butt up and at it. Hopefully just a few hours this morning at work, then not sure. Left work then went picked up my little girl about 9:30 last night. Ford's steering real hard at a crawl, just fine once I'm rolling. Got to figure that out this morning. Got my California hunting license in the mail, we'll see what I draw now. Want that Bridgeport area. ........Otay! Another one of these cups and off to da job.

Good evening all. ..............Ford's have'n a fit or whatever she's do'n. Looks like a new steering pump. Then today, crank pulley near came off. One bolt, and a half, holding it on!!! Heard a rattle that just got louder. Pulled over and looked like that thing was ready to let go. That was close man. She's back safe at the job. Guys said they'd get to it Monday. Asked them exactly what is was they did when they take her in for 'service'. .......Okay, whip'd after this long week. Not sure about tomorrow now I ain't got the Ford. Won't take my Silverado, too pretty for that creek bed. ....course, girls do have their battered 2005 Tahoe 4x4. Not sure what I'll do..............
