Elk hunting is on my list. I would never be able to pack one out, but luckily my Buddy lives in the area and he and 2 of his boys elk hunt, so if I kill one I would have folks to help. Cant do it this year but fall of 2020 is my intention. Hope to get the 35 Whelen ready for that trip.

Here at the work desk w/nothing better to do, so I checked my 'private mail'. Seems I missed an alert yesterday from my gun club (WEGC) advising seven vehicles got stuck trying to cross the creek, maybe a good thing I went to the field instead. Stopped by the hanger on the way to work, battery showed all charged up, ........she's ready! Think I got a quick morning dental appointment this week ...early!

John, Jake and Jay talking about doing the things on our dream list and worrying about time or energy to enjoy these finer things in life. I will say what my dad alway told to me. "Be thankful for every healthy day that God gives you. Make the most of the day and give it your best shot." My dad would always have a plan for tomorrow and get up early to start at that list.

    GUUD-MOW-NIN!

Got a lot of my yard work done yesterday.
Got my sinuses all messed up too...part of it I suppose.
Just leased 60 acres of solid wooded swampy creek bottom
south of my place for hunting.
Real nice lady to talk to. Can't wait to start blazing some trails
in there. Got an aireal pic of it from the tax office.
Not one open spot in it...not much good for deer hunting
the way I do it, but prime squirrel hunting.
Thinking about building me a kennel and buying some more
    squirrel dogs.

Getting my pack ready for a walk over there.
Gonna see if I can find a good spot to cross the creek.

Good morning everyone. I am home today--must have gotten the bug that has been going around at work. Might load up some 444s and work on the lawnmower later.
