    You know,I was waching a show on tv the other day about some guys training wild mustangs for veterens and one guy was drinking straight froma stream using one of those straws.It was the first one I ever seen and now this.Interesting.

    Yup, I guess I'm a sucker for deals, or just a sucker, have known about these for years, hardly ever see them for less than fifteen bucks or so, so I ordered two with the "spoork", to get me to the free shipping limit. Not exactly the chicken little type, but in case of some type of "catastrophe", man made or natural, we have a retention pond about 30 yards behind our house, could use 5 gal buckets to flush toilets, and lifestraws for drinking, worth 27 dollars in my opinion.     I've had one in my bag in my truck for a couple of years . Never had to use it but along with all
    the other stuff I have but nice to know it's there .

    These are definitely worth having. I’ve used mine many times. Works well.
